My head is a cage
A prison cell to all my thoughts.
Nestled down in a bed of dusty memories
Ideas toss and turn restlessly.
Inside my mind irritated notions pace up and down
Searching for ways to escape their confines
Trying to break loose and become rash actions instead.
Frustrated, words inside of me whisper and hiss.
How they want to be free!
Away from this stuffy prison.
Free!
