Help!
Tomorrow there is going to be a huge party for all the people at my work, 350 people. I have succesfully dodged every attempt to make me hold the speech.
But now Iīm a bit troubled . Since my friends would laugh at me, Iīll just trust you to be kind and helpful. Thatīs right. Nice and helpful. As you can see Iīm desperate.
There is going to be dance. OK - I love to dance. At night clubs and raves. I can shake various bodyparts to the beat. I dontīknow how to dance anything that actually requires you to hold the other person. So I thought Iīll just sit and watch.
Now my boss has , jokingly , asked for a dance.
To say it in new-speak - double plus bad.
I can A - decline, B - pretend that I have twisted my ancle and use a cane during the entire dinner, C - just leave the party after dinner and run like a coward, or D - learn to dance tonight.
I donīt know what to wear either. We are at work first, and then we are going to a mansion on the country side. So I have to find something that
is OK both for work and party, because I will not have time to change clothes. Black, kneelenght dress and a nice scarf perhaps? I do not own any scarf, but I guess I can get one...
Mansion. Dinner where men wear ties. Dance to an orchestra. Boss. Panic.
Help.
