I Saw the World Lie

I saw the world in all its beauty
I saw your eyes, they saw right through me
For what it's worth, I can't forget
So many times I swore regret
I say nothing, you hear everything
But I can't comprehend anything

I saw the world in all its ruins
Twisted vantage point, not congruent
Her story stolen from some dead writer
All along the truth was written down beside her
Under her nose, in front of her eyes
I'm aware that believe spells "lie" inside

I saw the world in its attempted redemption
A result of living life in contention
Nothing's good enough, must get better
Unjust truths won't let me forget her
Idle time is Satan's playground
I look, I see her, you're nowhere to be found

I saw the world in all its beauty
I saw her eyes, you saw right through me
The irony of lust versus love leaves me numb
Exhausted, I come to you, once again I'm drunk
Behind your back, above your eyes
I know that believe spells "lie" inside

I saw the world lie.

The stars were there and the moonlight too.

The morning came gently moving the blanket,

Of stars and the moonlight away.


The morning yawned,the dews wiping the leaves clean.

Where is the towel?The flowers asked,

This my earth is lying lazy.


I saw this world a lie,

A make beleive that would have your,

Scene of angry existence shaken.

For this world is a lie and me an actor in that,

Scene called existence.
