Damn You

Damn you
I got a project to do
My friend is asking for help
I got to read a few books
And all I can think about is you

Damn you
Last night felt right
But what does it really mean?
Is what happens in bed all just a dream?

Damn you
Is this even right?
Should I let you in my life?
Or should I put up a fight?

Damn you
You got me writing on paper
It’s acting as a Savior
Cuz right now I’m going crazy
Just thinking all about you

Damn you
Now I can’t stop
Got my friends on AIM
And all I can say is “Be Right Back”

DAMN YOU!
I never write poetry
The thought of you has taken a hold of me
I’ve got to make you let go of me

Damn you!
You make me go out of my mind
I’m spending so much time
Just thinking about you

Damn you!
Well, I let it all out now
Didn’t know you meant so much, wow
Now it all seems clear to me

Damn you,
I need you in my life
As corny as it sounds
You make my day and night
You’ve just got a hold of me

Damn you
I gotta end this now
Just gotta man up and tell you how
You’re always on my mind now
And how your love means everything to me

really nice.
i like the flow of emotions in this, from anger to acceptance.
by the way, welcome to the boards, hope you enjoy it here as much as I do.
It`s a very honest piece it seems.
i really liked how all the stanzas started the same, but the last stanza really stands out. great job.

this is a tight poem, i think it's something that goes through everyone's head at the beginning of a relationship, maybe not even a relationship, but the possibility of one. as i was reading this i kinda laughed because it all became so familiar.

great depiction

This is a wonderful experience of a young poet. You have made it so simple, blending ideas that are varied.

I loved this poem. It does a great job at showing how most people feel in relationships and I wish that I could put my feelings down on paper like you did.
