Hello, I am a Junior in High School and almost a Senior. I plan on going to NEOUCOM (Northeastern Ohio University College Of Medicine - a 7 year BS/MD program). I will be taking the ACT on June 14th (10 days after school!) for the first time and I hope I will get at least a 32 (as that is the bare minimum for applying to NEOUcom). I plan on doing Tennis/Track next year (it will be my first time doing out of school activites, mainly in the past I could not because of me having problems getting rides). I am very bad at English (took a practice ACT, got a 32 science, 34 math, 30 reading, 22 in English). I would like to get better (it is also my only non "AP" or "honor" course in High School that I will have next year) and basically master the English language (at least..master it to the extent where I could get by in life easily).

:D

I would like to become a cardiologist(not 100 percent sure though, because I really haven't explored the field of medicine very much), but I will probably end up becoming some sort of surgeon. I like to read mystery and horror books for the most part.

Wow I think you're quite brave for that... I could never work as a doctor or nurse or anything in medicine, EVER. But I've had surgery, and I'm so thankful to my surgeon (I had 2 knee operations, nothing really major). Good luck with everything, and I hope you enjoy whatever it is you decide to do.

And I'm sure you'll get as much help as you need here, I know that my grammar and spelling has gotten better since joining, and my vocabulary has increased quite a bit! :D

Welcome to litnet!
Just practicing speaking and writing any language will improve language skills, so you're going about it the right way. I'm sure you'll do excellently on your ACT on 14 June. :)
Cardiology is a very interesting field. The heart is a fascinating organ, and many aspects of it are still unknown; you'd be learning new things daily! :)
