If a film adaptation of Ulysses is possible then so is this.
Whether it will be any good is a completely different question.
I find it odd how they chose what I found was the most dramatically uninteresting of all the Sound and the Fury's chapters - Benjy's section.
Would be more interesting - though far more difficult - to do Quentin's.

I can see that Quentin's story is incredibly dramatic, but by performing Benjy's part they could, perhaps, give a more direct insight into the 'Sound' and 'Fury' of the piece, through the huge amount of confusion that the audience will experience: a true taste of the novel.
