Over the past few weeks, I have been quite busy. Track, school, and social obligations have kept me away from these forums over the past few days, allowing me only to poke in every once in a while. I can come up with a myriad of excuses, such as my recent induction into the National Honor Society, my desire to perform well in Track (1st place in sectionals is not far from sight), and the regular dose of yard work that comes with spring. Oh, how I love the spring. :rolleyes:

Also, I've noticed that I spend a surprisingly low amount of time reading these days; I think my internet addiction is to blame. I haven't read a full book since last month it seems, and I used to read at least three a month. Although I do read quite a bit on these forums, it's just not the same.

In short, I have made up my mind to take a brief, or perhaps not so brief, leave from this forum.

Ah but absence truly does make the heart grow fonder. I too, took a vacation from reading. And as spring delicatley sprung forth, so too, did my love for reading. May your departure be a short, but productive time.
