They say yesterday lies in the past
forever
They say you can never change yesterday
but I know...
today is built on yesterday
yesterday determines tomorrow
Yesterday may be gone forever
but I'll forget you never
You said that time repeats itself
Oh how I wish that its true
how I wish I could forget yesterday...forget you
an oxymoron that may be
but thats what I feel
they say I should forget yesterday
and look towards tomorrow
are they right?
you tell me
am I wrong when I long for yesterday
probing what was and what could have been
longing to know
no!
demanding to know
did you really love me
did you even care
or was I just
another one off your toys
