But personally, I wish there's a better way when deleting posts
For instance, Admin/Mod first send the poster a notification to poster which posted something that was considered against the forum rules, and may cause someone's got offended. Then, the poster is given the chance to update or even delete the post by his/her own will . Then if no response after sometime, then Admin/Mods have all the freedom to delete the post. I mean this is one of the ways to 'educate' members (i dont really like that word my self-educate)

Same thing goes for the banning rules. I don't know wheter Hihtuan was given a notification first before he got banned. But i hope he did got it.

Can't seem to be able to 'take a side', my point being, I think having a thread/part of forum/whatever would be a good idea, did say so before, but on the other hand I agree with having that, it would get more guys to seek it, and I want to believe not all people who would post there are just 'too lazy to do their work themselves'. I mean, sometimes one only needs a nudge in the right direction to get started, like when they ask other people's opinions with it being apparent they know what the others would be talking about, having read the work themselves, not asking other people to do their work. Think I might be a tad hypocritical now as my first two posts were: asking if someone didn't know the author of a poem I liked very much and the other asking if someone didn't know any sites where I could find some interesting stuff about Milton (for my paper).

So... I think Logos and Chris can do actually anything (within reason) they want. I believe Logos was not going... how Stan put it... something along the lines of 'getting the power get to his head'. There are some rules and there are reasons for the rules. One can disagree with them but well, it's a part of the forums. Though I do think it'll be reasonable to let you know he was about to close/delete things or at least let you know via PM the reasons, would seem proper to me. Although... I could argue this point for ever, I can't really take a side in this one, both sides have valid points.
