Somewhere, perhaps at this very moment,
someone is yearning in my direction
only she doesn’t know
what direction that is nor
that I am yearning for her
in equal ignorance.

I really enjoy the thought in this poem. I love the 'perhaps', it was needed, to me anyway, because you're talking about something so elusive. I like that, this future that is so blank and that doesn't exist but that we can still perceive, maybe because we have learned to know how life is quite cyclical. Thank you.

As usual, a sensitive reading on your part. Although the "perhaps" may appear quite casual and even obvious, it is essential to the poem, the tentativeness with which the speaker qualifies his wish...

The idea of "equal ignorance" is brilliant!

I know you are collecting and selecting the best of these. I hope so.

So much like Frank O'Hara's Lunch Poems, but better, or maybe it's just me, or maybe it's just that your subjects are more interesting in many cases.

"equal ignorance" is like one of those compressed tablets one drops in water and they swell to become a planting pot capable of hold a sequoia.
