[Nemi]

Does anyone remember any poems they wrote when they were younger? I mean from the age of 10 or below? I remember when I was 9/10 coming in late, and being told to write a poem about an animal. I didn't have much time, so I quickly wrote one about a worm, with the words going around the outside of a drawing of a worm. My older brother liked it a lot, and now I get it quoted back at me :lol:

Worms

I love worms because they are slippery, slimey, pink and fat.
When a worm gets trodden on, it goes splat!

Anyone else remember their "prodigal work"? :D

If I recall correctly, much of my childhood poetry has either disappeared from neglect, or someone has destroyed (most likely by me, out of embarrassment). I do, however, remember a poem from a childrens' show I adored, "Sesame Street:"

A fat
cat
sat
on a hat
and made it flat.
