I looked around and I didn't see another thread the same, many sort of similar, but not exactly the same, so I apologise if there is one already and I missed it! But I've been listening to so much music lately and I remembered a conversation with a friend about what song basically sums up our life, and I wondered if you would share what song you think describes your life?
Or perhaps a song that describes your outlook on life?
If you can't think of one like that perhaps just a song that makes you happy, or one that fits a situation or emotion you're feeling now.

If I had to choose one it would probably be A Beautiful Day by Gym Class Heroes. It's a very positive, light and happy song.

I'd love for you all to respond, not only will we all maybe hear of some new music but it'll give people a little more insight into your personality perhaps! :)

Personally, any blues song, from Robert Johnson, to the Blues Brothers. Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, or maybe some Hank Williams. Music makes the World go around. Anyways, nice thread Sprinks. B

Out of Sync by Dev-O is my life.

But it's not my favorite DEVO song.

Many of their songs sum up my life and thoughts on this wiggly world.

Vivaldi's Winter. I've no idea why, it just sounds 'compactible' with me.

all or nothing-athena cage. it was the soundtrack of the save the last dance. it describes what i believe about the goals and the dreams of my life.
here without you-3 doors down, what about now-chris daughtry. these describe my sentimental situation at the present.
in the air tonight-nonpoint. i like it...that's all.
i don't need a man-the pussicat dolls. it's not the kind of song i like, i'm just trying to convince myself that i believe evry single word of the lyrics. the only thing i've managed to believe by now, is that 'i don't need a ring around my finger to make me feel complete...'

didn;t really think my life had a soundtrack, and if ever it hought it did, it changed right away.

i did get to take this test on one of the sites around and it said that the soundtrack of my lovlife was you and me, lifehouse.. i loved this song even before then but it kinda had a different meaning when they played that song at the seniors' ball last feb (14, of all dates!) and no one danced with me then.. lol.. interpreting is up to you.

Waiting for My Real Life to Begin, by Colin Hay, would definitely be on my soundtrack. I often find myself getting too caught up in what I want life to be like in tomorrow that I forget to enjoy today.

So far it has been very much Beethoven's Ninth. It has only heretofore been a sort of cycle, varying by degree, of the first three (not very optimistic) movements, but perhaps I'll contrive to reach the happy ending at some point... :)

I am in love with two French songs from Aznavour:"La Boheme" and "Les Deux Guitarres".They are not me,I must admit, but they shaped me...
