The ultimate number ten, the only thing I can htink of that deserves it:
The Fire of Origins, by some unpronouncable African name.
how about music??
Bolero
Scheherazade
Claire de Lune
Fur Elise
Moonlight Sonata
Somewhere Beyond the Sea/Fly Me to the Moon
Good idea! I can only name composers, though, instead of only songs, out of such a love for these particular people: Edvard Grieg, Frederic Chopin, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Johann Sebastian Bach, Richard Wagner, and Vivaldi.
Another '10' book I forgot to include: Faust by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

This is hard.
For collections of shortstories I can´t decide on Ursula K Le Guin "The compass rose" and a book by Capote. In sweden it´s called Music for chameleonts.
Music - even harder ! Clair de lune, by Debussy (like Scheherazade), Ode to Joy by Beethoven or Strange Fruit by Billie Holiday? And of course "I can´t get no satisfaction", by Rolling Stones. I´m abit addicted to that song right now.
Graphic novels - Cages by Dave McKean or Signal to noice by Dave McKean and Neil Gaiman.
Poetry- The wasteland by TS Eliot, Grapefruit by Yoko Ono (well perhaps not really poetry, but I´m not sure what else to call it)
You really ned to ask for the bestes band? ;) *thinks very hard* hmmm... what about Nightwish? :)
As I've read so few books I can't say. Not a gymnastics fan either so... no one here as well... as far as ovies are concerned... I have no idea. What a boring post.
*edit* forgot to rate :p
I'm giving Nightwish 13 out of 10

a friend and i saw the film version of Phantom of the Opera today. i give it 6 stars. it was out of this world; there was just so, so much that i found riveting. awesome. it may have just replaced Singing in the Rain as my all-time favorite musical.
i was really happy to see that Andrew Lloyd Webber was responsible for the screenplay and production, as well.

silence of the lambs?! :goof: disappointing, as far as I'm concerned.
I'd give a perfect ten to the movie "Manhunter" came out in 1985, was the origional hannibal lecktor movie(based off the novel, of course) and it was amazing.
my favorite movie =) I have the movie in my closet, and the soundtrack in my CD case. I recommend anyone who's a fan of the red dragon novel to watch the movie, you will not be disappointed.

The only "10" that immediately leaps to mind is Donovan McNabb!
silence of the lambs?! :goof: disappointing, as far as I'm concerned.
Unfortunately, I saw the film before reading the novel, years later. I loved the novel far more, but, still, nothing seems to dominate Anthony Hopkins.

Manhunter definitely creeped me out - any of those disturbing *skin* films, for a lack of better words, bordering Ed Gein-inspired material
Red Dragon I enjoyed also, along with its prequel, Hannibal, though it did not seem to flow as nicely without Jodie Foster, but que sera, sera.
