Hey everyone I need HELP please!

Ok well I also posted my question in the Sophocles thread but not many people seem to be seeing it or responding!:( I guess I don't need urgent help, but your opinions would be greatly valued in helping me create some arguments!

Okay so my essay question is...

"Oedipus has been referred to as the classic tragic hero. Aristotle claimed that a classic tragic hero caused his own downfall, his fate was not deserved, his punishment exceeded the crime, he was of noble stature and had greatness. Discuss to what extent Oedipus is a classic tragic hero."

I've got about 2 weeks to write this essay but ANY opinions or knowledge you could share would be appriciated immensely! Thanks :)

Did Aristotle also say that a flaw of character is what causes the downfall?

I'm not sure... I'll look into it, it might help flesh out my essay and argument... Thanks :)
