To Transcend
The bird takes flight with rustling wings,
Departing ground, not home,
To soar the skies without a bound,
So free to search the dome.
The notes take flight like birds disturbed,
With ricochet of bow,
As fingers move with surity
The spirit starts to flow.
The soul takes flight with birds and notes,
below are land and ponds
As liberty is sought and found,
So free of earthly bonds.
The bird takes flight with rustling wings,
Departing ground, not home,
To soar the skies without a bound,
So free to search the dome.
The notes take flight like birds disturbed,
With ricochet of bow,
As fingers move with surity
The spirit starts to flow.
The soul takes flight with birds and notes,
below are land and ponds
As liberty is sought and found,
So free of earthly bonds.
