I'm always a sucker to open a poem that reminds me of Natalie Imbruglia's Torn:


“Illusion never changed
into something real,
I’m wide awake and I can see
the perfect sky is torn,

I can appreciate the sentiment here. My 17 yo daughter goes through the same throes from time to time.

I tell her to go out with both (NO!, separately). The one who wants to possess you? Dump him.
