Two Viewpoints

People think it is those that are brazen in deeds that are to blame
for the many heartaches suffered by the ones ruthlessly ruined and destroyed—
but it is the ones that are spineless who actually bear that shame—

they cannot face themselves, and so they must somehow shift that frame
until the focus is on another innocent party, and they play with them like a toy.
People think it is those that are brazen in deeds that are to blame,

that at least a spark of courage would be required to engage
the type of merciless slaughters in death camps like the Nazis deployed...
But it is the ones that are spineless who actually bear that shame,

dealing out death for nothing but a color, race, or even a name—
such thinking is naught but the worst of insanity, is it not to be destroyed?
People think it is those that are brazen in deeds that are to blame,

oh, they do their share of damage, and “brazen” perhaps too nice a name
for predators who are deliberately sadistic as a sport to be enjoyed!
But it is the ones that are spineless who actually bear that shame—

for at least the brazen will dare to call you out by your name,
not sneak around, stab in the back, insinuate, flat out lie, and other ploys.
People think it is those that are brazen in deeds that are to blame
but it is the ones that are spineless who actually bear that shame—
