I think I've seen a thread like this around before, but couldn't find it. So I'm starting afresh.
Sometimes we just need our anger OUT. Has anything annoyed you recently that you would like to share?
Personally, I'm getting really hacked off with libraries. Not only was I fined 40p yesterday for a book that was only overdue because they'd set their date stanp to the wrong date, but I really find it unreasonable that we have to take books back at all. How galling is it to borrow a really amazing book that you can just visualise sitting on your bookshelf, that you want to read over and over again... and then you have to return it?
One could of course say, why not just buy it? But I cannot afford to buy every book that I love!!! It's just so cruel to tantalise unwary readers with books that are not theirs!!!!!!!!!!
NB I must admit that this is in part a continuation of my quest to find an infinite thread... Everyone gets cross, don't they?

I am really sick of endless tv commercials for "male enhancement" pills and devices. Viagra even has a theme song now with a stupid country-style video to go with it. Enough already! :flare:

I feel sick of people who call themselves my friends and don't bother enough to inquire how I am doing.

i really got irritated with how the beginning of our high school graduation (last apr.3) went. i was left without a seat (and i'm a graduate), i was confused, my adviser hated me, and none of it was my fault!
i'm not obssessing over it or anything but my adviser just talked to me and she said she'd wanted to pinch me then. ish.

You can't be serious? Why don't you just feel grateful that you have an option of borrowing?

Yeah.
I'm frustrated because something nice was happening, well it has kind of happened but I know there's a chance for it not to happen again and even if I know, I also know that deep down I hope and I hate to hope because then I get disillusioned because I was hoping on a nice plan for the night but the plan is not as promising as I...hoped so I'd better pack up my hopes and go back to my grumpy life.

No. i'm not really serious. I just get WAY over-possessive about books once i've read them.

I think we've all been there!! (looking at most of the posts anyway)
I generally tend to get grumpy about silly things, but i have started turning my anger round into a positive action, like exercise! i am slightly overweight and feel sluggish a lot of the time, so my anger will go (because keeping fit brings on the happy hormones) and it will also make me feel better in myself :D
positive thinking guys :thumbs_up i am a believer in karma...

I tried exercise actually (not really excercise, just walk) and the rest would make a funny story. Being far from over-weight, I walked more than I probably should have and a sort of ran too in circles full of anger....this resulted in pain in joints for the following day. Now I do try to take off my anger by walking but not that much. Oh and another way is to write poetry. I am not really what I would call a good poet (actually far from good) but the better poems that I have written have been penned (or typed) at times I was angry/gloomy (when I am gloomy, I eventually turn out to be angry too).

Disclaimer: if you don't like baseball (and I pity you if you don't) then you'll have no clue what I'm talking about.
Joe Borowski sucks. He just sucks. This guy makes me want to break things. This offense (which has also ben pissing me off of late) FINALLY scores some runs in an inning to take the lead going into the last frame and he gives up a walk-off grand slam. When he blows saves, he does it in spectacular fashion. And I got sick of hearing Indians fans saying last year "well he led the league in saves" well neglecting to mention that he also happened to lead the league in blown saves. The guy can get a lot of saves, but he is unreliable. He can implode at any time. I still haven't him blowing that game last year were we lead by 5 with 2 down in the ninth.

I'm incredibly annoyed at someone, it's a long story spanning a few months but basically the thing is I knew someone, they treated me in a way I didn't like being treated, I stopped all communication with them over 3 months ago, blocked their email, deleted phone numbers etc. So then he goes and creates new email addresses, emails me, gets his friends to email me, wont stop annoying me, and worst of all he emails my friend. I can deal with him annoying me BUT HE HAD NO RIGHT TO BRING ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS INTO IT.
Thankyou for letting me vent that. I already told my friends but that was more of a crying "I don't know what to do now!" thing rather than a "HE SHOULD BE LEAVING ME AND MY FRIEND ALONE" angry vent thing

If it's making you feel uncomfortable, could you tell your parents or someone at school about it? It sounds like he's a bit of a stalker, and should be stopped!

Yes, when we are frustrated we tend to let our emotion control us.This is when we start to have lot of problems by showing it on someone else, using abusive language etc etc.Meditation is one of the best technique to get our emotions under our control and also push them in the right direction to get some positive results.
