Life for Life just a Poem for Thought

By: Bruce Bradley

I am who I am and ife has made me this way.
We try to fit in caring what others might say.
To want to trade lives would be all so fake.
Be whom you are the difference it will make.

Trying to fit in the world there is a price to pay .
Acting to be happy to get along each day
Refusing our wrongs our hearts will ache.
It always feels better to give and not take.

We mold our feelings as if they are clay.
Ae will have to be ourselves someday.
Do what’s right so there is no mistake.
We know that there is much at stake.

Life is hard and tough a game we play.
To have life change all we have is to pray.
There will be a time you will fail to wake.
The angles will take us to drift like a snowflake.

With the lord on our side we will never sway.
Giving your life to the lord makes leaving OK.
Selling your soul for life it's the devil's to take.
It takes belief to save us from the big bake.

To be what you are, completely and sharply is indeed difficult. There are too many prejudices we live with.

I like this post for writing truth.

Its either easy or its impossible, we fit into a society and reciprocally society accepts us like a mould waiting for clay to be poured in. Though man is a social animal, and you could argue that integrating into society is being what we are; we are all individuals but sometimes we can get caught in the trap of thinking that how people perceive us defines us.

We are molded by society. We are helpless sorts. Even if we are convinced of the fact that some of the social laws or bylaws or rules are baseless we are bound by social regulations and we want our ideas confirmed by social validations and it is society that stamp recognition.

I personally distaste many of the social norms and standards. But I am bound for I am too weak to against general acceptance.
