I really want to get better at poems to express myself..if you have any pointers or advice it will be gladly welcomed please tell me what you think..


I must let go,
To be one with myself

I must forget,
To not hurt anymore

I must never look back,
To look only to the future

I must remember
Only to learn,
Only to understand,
And in return, to be happy

So what do I do?

the only thing I could say is to organize the stanzas so that they emphasize pauses. It's a really good poem ^^

i've only written a few poems and love it, but i dont think i'm any good..the people on here are so good at poems i just hope i can become good at writing poems someday..thanks for the advice i will make sure to use it when i write my next poem..whenever that is
