I've already introduced myself in the "Introduce Yourself and Say Hi" thread....but it looks like I should have done so here, so......

Hi ~ Reading is my passion, so here I am! I'm basically an eclectic reader, but I'm partial to British detective mysteries. History is another favorite genre, especially biographies. I enjoy poetry as well. My favorite poets are Rainer Maria Rilke, William Blake, Langston Hughes, and Sylvia Plath. At the moment I'm reading Marie Antoinette: The Journey, by Antonia Frasier.

I happen to be a Balimore Orioles baseball fan and I occaisionally get over to the park for a game.

I'm not a big sports fan, actually. Edgar Alan Poe is buried in this dear city, and I took the name Raven in honor of his masterpiece, The Raven. :)
