I'm not sure about all the "formalities" new members usually go through here, so I'll just introduce myself here. There's more about me on my website (http://http://web.mac.com/shellybryant/Site/About_Me.html), if anyone is that interested.
I'll just put the bare minimum here, then. I am a part-time literature teacher in Singapore at a private university. I grew up in Houston, TX, but I've lived in Singapore for all of my adult life (15 years now), and presently split time between Singapore and Shanghai. At the moment, I am in Shanghai studying Chinese language for a semester (I speak OK, but am working on the written language). I love to read, write, cycle, travel, and generally enjoy life.
Glad I've found the forum here. I am looking forward to being around a lot more often!
