Whether Weather


Whenever you think you see the clouds,
That is where I'll be.
When things are going your way,
Are they leaving me?

Whenever I think I see the light,
I know thats where you are.
The clouds shift back my way,
Keeping us apart.

Do I bring the weather with me
To spoil a perfect day?
Or do clear skies surround you,
To keep my clouds away?

I wonder if I'll ever see you,
And what will happen then?
Will your light brighten my day,
or my clouds your day dampen?

Really moving. Possibilites are there of course of the cloud darkening our ways or bringing the shower of love.

You are the wonderful stuff to be able to imagine the way you did.

May I kick your can? Don't down your own work! Not the best? Let your audience be the judge of that, please. You know how many best sellers were originally refused by many publishing houses only to have someone say "Hey! this is good!" with the story unchanged? A lot!

We like it my friend! So therefore it must be good! If your work is bad, or not so good, I think someone here might be honest enough to tell you, "Un, BLP, this one is a rat's nest of imponderable and unreadable junk." Or they might just say it sucked. Who knows? :p The point being you'd get feedback! :D

Thanks Pen, I posted much better poems than this, and had people shred them up. That was when I stopped posting on the poetry site when people were rating my best as crud. Anyways, this is from 18 years ago. I know I've lost most of my work, but I kept the ones I felt moving. I still think you and jon1lit are much better than me. Anyways, thanks again for the kind words my friend. B
