Sharing the Laptop

2. No, Granny5 should do without a computer.

I will be headed to Oklahoma for school for a total of 6 weeks starting next week. I believe that since we have two computers in the house, one of them being a laptop that belongs to Poppy, that I should be allowed to take the laptop with me. It'll enable me to stay in touch with my family on a daily basis and I won't have to go through LitNet withdrawals either. Doesn't everyone else think that I should be allowed to take Poppy's laptop with me and he can use my computer while I'm gone?

Yes it's only fair that he lets you use it... especially since it is for quite a while that you will be gone, not just one or two days, and if you have 2 computers then it's not like it's all that much of a disadvantage to him...

But, as Virgil said, I could just lay down the law and say I get to take it or he has to buy me one. But after over 30 years, he knows how to deal with me laying down the laws. :lol:
