Actually, I came across this forum jut by chance. I'm not really sure, if I'm worthy joining an english literature forum, but I felt encouraged by the thread about the differnt native languages. Thus I thought: Let's try!
But first, some information about myself:
I live in Bavaria, near Munich
At first, I studied music, but I found it quite boring after working as a musician for 4 years, so I inscribed at the university again. Now I'm doing computational linguistics, and that was really the best decision in my life!
Why do I think I'm a poet?
I must admit, I was missing some inspiration the last few years. I used to write a lot in my youth, but now I have to learn it again.....
Well, I think, that's it for the moment,
CY,

Wellcome Starfish.
Music boring? :)
Hope you catch your mode again, in poetry.
There quite a treasure in forums, just dig them.
See you.

Thanks for your answers!
Well, music lost its magic for me, when I discovered, above all in my profession, that it has less to do with art than I had expected.... And another point is, that music is not my only interest. Most musicians are not really open minded, unfortunately...
I'm very happy to be here, I hope I can improve my english a little, and I hope I can post some pieces of poetry soon...

(…) And we have a few members from Germany and Austria here. (…)
… and here is already one of them, I joined LitNet not so long ago myself. :)
Did you discover the Kraut Conspiracy (http://www.online-literature.com/forums/showthread.php?p=544346#post544346)?
Your nickname reminds me of some constellation — intended or coincidence?
Welcome, Starfish. :)
Hope you enjoy it here. I'm sure you will get your muse back through browsing the threads :) Come as often as you can.

The Kraut Conspiracy.... That's really cool!
But my nickname has nothing to do with ist - mere coincidence. I chose it, because it sounds so, well, I think dreamy might be the right word. A little bit from the otherworld - a star down on earth...
By the way: A furious hello and merhaba to Istanbul!!!! I love Turkey!
Has anyone got any hints for me how to get my muse back? I lost it some years ago. Maybe I should as at the lost property office...

Merhaba you too. I think I am the only one to answer; yet of course.
Geographically closest people I know here, from Greece.
For muse, read good poems => be jealous => take a pen :)
And reading your old ones may be helpful.
May it be easy!
