Labour, my love, in the vineyard
where the grapes all glisten
with morning dew.

Leave the smog-filled halls
of academia where the lecturers repeat
what was repeated to them that you
in turn may repeat it to others

or the sharp-edged corners
of shadowy corporations
where the business of business is conducted,
sotto voce.

Oh, I like what this is saying, I like it! There is a desire for freedom but in the meantime there is the word 'labour', strange.

The second stanza somehow reminds me of The Logical Conclusion by Pound.

I like this one, Jerry.

In the valley above between the mountains, they have put in a massive vineyard and winery, and I drive by and see the grape hanging heavy awaiting harvest.

I have sat through the boring lectures where they read from the book as if we cannot and drone on and on. Dang, make it interesting and people will want to learn!

The business world is worse. Having meeting for two hours to figure out why we are behind on production. Well, we just lost two hours of production time for one thing...duh! http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l108/AbsalomKane/Newest/PinkSpider.gif
