Death within death, dead in the living
To be fulfilled would be gone
dropped down and thrown up
Feeling like this never made any sense
But then to how in that feeling to which no return in my self
No answer for me?
I see....
To be in that and from that is how it must be
Images fly past and never stop
dreams by unmoved under the chestnut tree
Unchain from the walls
The writing you forced out
To be gone
then just leave me be
No goodbyes, just torn out and pried
If that is the case, then so be it
Just don't be there every time I close my eyes
To many things left unsaid
Goodbyes, behind tears fall.

i wrote this last summer when my sister died. if it makes any sense to you.

Well, one can certainly feel the grief in it, the anguish. My condolences.

I agree with PrinceMyshkin .... you can definately feel the emotion behind it. And also I am sorry for your loss. The first line is what caught my eye and I really like the last one too. I also like the line "unchain from the walls". Very good poem....thank you for sharing.

Tarquin, your poem was very touching. I could also feel the grief. I really loved the phrase
Just don't be there every time I close my eyes I could really feel that thought.

I also want to offer my sympathy in the loss of your sister. Take care, Kizzo
