Who out there is really into the Star Trek scene, or on a whim bought some related stuff?

Me I search for star trek junk, and manufacture stuff I can't find, like the chess board.

Stanislaw

Stanislaw

too weird, almost everyone I know/have spoken too ahve at least once purchased something... oh my, I think you are in some serious need of Star Trek stuff, ;)

I own a mug that says "United Federation of Planets" with the symbol above it and I have a stuffed bear that is dressed like Q from The first episode "Something at Farpoint"

I'm trying to decide if I should be ashamed that I can't remember the title or should I be ashamed that a 34 year old woman owns Star Trek paraphenalia.

There is nothing to be ashamed of, everyone inside loves Trek.

Hmm, if I had to own something, I think I would like to get their watch-like thingies...

And I would LOVE to be able to say 'beam me up Scotty' just once! :D

Stanislaw

yes, I would practically sell my sole for an official communicator used on the show, that would be too awesome

Scheherazade
11-03-2004, 01:53 PM
Ah that is what it is called? Official communicator?
*giggles*

Stanislaw

I own one framed Star Trek postcard, and thatīs about it. I put it on my kitchen wall. It is a picture of Captain Kirk eating an apple. It supposed to remind me to eat fruit.

Stanislaw
11-04-2004, 11:49 AM
thats pretty cool, a good reminder (is it old kirk or young kirk?)

Isagel
11-04-2004, 11:52 AM
Young Kirk. Of course.
Itīs a vintage postcard, from the early years. It was given to me by a friend. Feel the nerd vibes!

Scheherazade

My brother looks -rather used to look- like young Kirk... So many poeple said that and it never got into his head :p

And I think Riker looks much better with a beard... or is it me?

Stanislaw
11-05-2004, 01:09 PM
He looked more rugged with the beard I think.

Scheherazade
11-05-2004, 01:15 PM
Haha! Is that a wishful thinking that he looked piratish?? :D

Stanislaw
11-05-2004, 01:17 PM
ermmm nooo... nah, he looked more piratish than picard. However there was that one episode with the pirate, that was cool.

Scheherazade

-blinks slowly- methinks I ventured into territory that mayhaps I shouldn't of... -thinks about that for a moment- naw, more interesting this way.. and I hate to say it but I dun have much for star treck unless you count having a treky for a programing insturctor? hehe... and come on... its gotta be Spock (-prays she spelt that right-) all the way... -passes "I Love Star Treck" pins to all and runs off giggling-

Stanislaw
11-05-2004, 01:42 PM

Scheherazade
11-05-2004, 04:34 PM

Stanislaw

Kiwi Shelf

Jester

no way thats one of my least favorites, i like DS9

Stanislaw
11-07-2004, 07:13 PM
DS9 aswell as voyager exist with TNG, they even have crossover episodes.

Jester
11-07-2004, 09:42 PM
yeah i know and that confuses me because tng was there when ds9 first started, picard killed ds9 commander's wife, cant remember his name right now, but riker and voyager's captain were in the acedemy together.... but q was in all of them except the first series, he's also my favorite character overall

papayahed
11-08-2004, 10:30 AM
I'm a big fan of Q too, but i can't help but wonder if it's because John Delancy (sp?) was in a soap opera I used to watch as a kid.

Stanislaw

he also guest star in Stargate occasionally.

I've never seen the Stargate" series, or at least SG-1. I've been trying to catch Stargat Atlantis though but I can never find what time it's on.

Stanislaw

indeed, I have had to resort to pirating the episode off the internet.
