View Full Version : What's your home page?

When you open up your Web browser, what is the page that comes up? My browser is IE, and right now MSN.com is my home page. I alternate between that and Google.com, but I was wondering what everyone else looks at when they open up their browsers because I'd like a change of scenery. Right now, MSN is amusing me, but sometimes the stories are kind of crappy. Today, however was a good day, and I learned the following:
1) It's a good time to buy a car (but who wants to with gas expected to reach over $4 per gallon by summer)
2) 1 in 4 teenage girls has an STD  :eek2:  (no judgement here - just, that really sucks!! Little girls need to be more careful!!!
3) Britney Spears may appear on how I met your mother (I admit it - I like to read about what mess she's gotten herself into. I hope she can get her act together, just because I like to see people who have screwed up turn it around)
4) College-educated people live longer
5) Free shipping on Avon today only!!
But really, I would be interested to maybe change my home page to something else for a while and see what else is going on. So, what is your homepage?
****EDIT: I forgot to add list item # 6: Lawmakers consider outlawing 'next marijuana' - salvia divinorum****

the basic msn page. I dont know how to change it....
To change...go into our browsers' menu top of page: "Tools"--"[Internet] Options"--"Main [General]" tab and there you can change it. My homepage is my personalised iGoogle :D

That's because it's so practical. Especially when I do translations I need to google lots of things, so it's easiest to have it as homepage.

I use Opera as a browser so it rather comes up with 9 speed dials instead of a home page when i open a tab. I've filled up almost all the speed dials with links, one leads to LitNet, another to my blog, another to my iGoogle account, another to my hotmail inbox etc etc.

I use ie, my start page is 'blank'
It is far better to start of with nothing, because something will always show up!

I had that until I got told off and told to get it off my computer because it was slowing it down... Google is my home page Im too lazy to look up how to change it. ALthough I probably should change it back to the BBc so that I get some glimmer of world events ...

I have Yahoo. I prefer that over Google. Google is a fairly boring page. Yahoo gives you snipets of news, sports, weather. Actually you can tailor the page to your preferences.

Mine's the standard Mozilla Firefox google search engine page.
I should really change it...maybe to my writing.com page, deviantART, hotmail or LitNet.

I'm currently surfing the Internet on my mother's office computer, so I have no choice; it's the Bureau of Fisheries home page. I have Google on my laptop, though, but I plan to change that someday... ;)
