I am writing a critical paper on the Great Gatsby and I can't find any papers written on my topic. We need to have an article that someone wrote who had the same topic as us and quote it in our paper. My topic is that in the Great Gatsby many of the characters made their dreams seem like these huge things when in actuality they weren't what they had thought. Anyone know where I can find an article on this topic???

Try Bloom's Character Interpretations, or his Critical essays. He did them both on the book and on the title character. As well, Lionel Trilling wrote a famous essay on the author, F. Scott Fitzgerald, which can be of some use. P.S. Wrong bored, and this is a very popular novel amongst scholars, so your inability to find papers on it just shows a lack of laziness/failure to go out of your way to any library.

I've checked everywhere, its not from laziness. Next time you want to insult me, you may want to know the facts :]
I'm new, so instead of telling me wrong board, why not try telling which board I should post this in. Thanks buddy.:yawnb:
