Hello, everyone. I wrote a poem. :)

Frozen Willows

There stood ice-sheathed behemoths,
Nature's wintry chimes.

What do you think?

I take it you liked it? :) I was inspired by the huge willow tree in my backyard. It was particularly stunning today, since it was glazed in ice. :)

Any other comments?

"Behemoth" No there's a good word you don't often see! But it tells me a whole lot about the size of tree you are talking about!

I very much like the crispness of it but found it hard to move from the shagginess of "behemoth" to the delicacy of "chimes".

I agree, it is an excellent word. :) I was standing outside in my backyard and strangely enough, that's the first word to came to mind (after "wow," of course :p) as I looked upon the willow tree.

Thanks for the comment. :) I agree, but I like the contrast.

I liked the poetic thought of
Nature's wintry chimes

And the contrast is perfect. :)
