So, let's say you are found dead, or if you can't stand the thought of that, unconscious, what book would you like them to find next to you? Or perhaps it would be more interesting, the book you would NOT want them to find.

Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee by Dee Brown is what I'd like them to find by me.
Anything by Nora Roberts, which I do read, is what I wouldn't want found.

All's Well That Ends Well by William Shakespeare would wonderful because he is my favorite author(and literary God) and also because the title is ironic...

Just anything but my horrid Psychology Textbook which will kill me anyway, so it is the most realistic book to be with...or on top of me..when I die.

Great answers! Trust me, if I find any of you in that state, I promise to kick all the Nora Roberts, textbooks and Bridget Jones diaries under the bed. LOL

Me? Oh brother, I was hoping no one would notice I didn't answer my own question. haha Granny. Let's see, it's a tough one. I know, a book of Billie Collins poetry and there will be a smile on my face, and close by, "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein.
Promise me, if you find me, you will get rid of that book about men's fantasies. Yikes! :D

I would want them to find Hard Times (for these times). However I have a lingering suspicion that they would find my Pocket Handbook to Environmental Regulatory Compliance in Ontario

Well, it seems to me that the discovery of a book with a corpse might hurt the reputation of the book. In this case: The Alchemist for me. :D

hmm, an interesting question! I would like to be found with any of my books, except maybe one of the more girly-romance ones. Can't ruin my reputation of being an ice princess! ;)
