Field Trip

Litnet has always proved both resourcefull and a great help upon many occasions. So, I'm calling upon you again...
My university group and I, we're five people, are headed to Syria in connection with our semester project. We've got a lot of contacts established already, but i was wondering if anyone here might actually be from Syria, or know someone who is, to make it a more interesting experience?

Anyone who has travelled in the area before is also welcome to pass suggestions or advice along. Thanks very much for your time,

mmm well i have been to syria but the thing is that i was 4 by that time.
they say it's nice my cousin went this year depends where in which city ur going to --they say it nice near the mountains -cold :) if you tell me in where ur staying i might help :)

Thanks, we're heading out mid-april. And staying mostly in Damascus. But perhaps I should encourage them to take a day trip into the mountains :)
