Where does my significance lay in the great scheme of things? Confound all of these intense questions that I put upon myself! What a heavy burden it is to delve deep into the mysteries of life, but I cannot help myself. However, the question still remains, and lingers in the hearts of men, about purpose and meaning. If we were to know these facts that are certainly real, the most likely (and who could say whether the reasoning is absurd or not) response would be that of dissatisfaction. The total explanation of this could fill a galaxy with information, and we are considered individually by our Maker.

I must speak for myself on this topic, for it is the only conceivable way in which I could arrive at an applicable truth. In the beginning God created Man. Notice the capitalization of the word Man, because it is quite significant. We were created and conceived in complete perfection at the first stage. Therefore, first and foremost I am a Man, a creature of beauty and perfection. From there on the scale decreases exponentially. The Man then become the man (with a lower case beginning), signifying my imperfection and my fall from God's standard. In all of the world we are Man and human, without exception, whether now possessing good or bad qualities. What comes next is how we can clarify and perhaps pin-point the place we hold in the Grand Scheme.

I am a Man, a human, a male, a young adult, a parent, a son, (A few are not in necessarily the proper order besides the first three). The list could go on for a time as we narrow down the specifics. At the end of the chain I am an addict, a sick person recovering from illness. Interesting…

To further this inquiry I must reflect on the life and works of Jesus Christ. He was certainly quite the healer in His short time on the earth. On many occasions recorded throughout the Gospels He went far out of His way to bring healing upon those who were suffering from various illnesses, even raising the dead. The obvious sentiment here would be for me to end this simply, and say that since I am a sick man, I have been placed on earth to be healed (so as to bring glory to God). But, how completely meaningless would that be? We are all included in the healing process that is offered, but what comes after that is what is of the greatest importance and where we draw great purpose.

A sick man, by the grace and power of God, will become a healed man. Then what? Do we simply stay marveled and deeply grateful for the healing? I would hope not! What great pains God has suffered through for our healing and bringing forth our mission on earth, and most either do not even notice or take heed. In many cases the calling is passed over with a minimum of concern. I say with great declaration that the sick and dying of this world will be healers in their finest hour. I include the dying because is it not so that they bring upon us the proper countenance of heart that makes for a better life?

Through healing and helping others we form a great connection with our Creator. We become in tune with His original thought of our creation, to do good and be like Him. Love and compassion, the very substance of the Spirit, are the key ingredients for the endeavor of soul searching. Be of service to your fellow Man!

There is a smell of the biblical notion of God, and in fact I do not subscribe to the biblical notion as there are other scriptural notions.

In point of fact to support a particular notion is to negate others.
Man is Man and man created man and God is a fabrication or invention of man's mind.
