The morning comes into view
And the sun shines bright with little light
A new found flower comes into bloom
Perfection now springs to life
Engulfing the world with every new sight
And gives growth to a conscience
Passion pulses through each vein
The midday sun beating down from above
A single spark sets the path ablaze
The melting forms forever changed
Consuming the soul in something like love
And coalesces proud scars
The scent of burnt leaves fills the air
As the setting sun leaves in its wake
A cool, crisp breeze; beautiful debris
Autumnal colors swirl about
Content at last at what life can make
Despite the withering death
Starlight reflects off icy lakes
The forgotten sun fraught by nightfall
A graceful end has come to take place
Tattered and worn limping away
Innocent snow buries all
And waits for morning again
The morning comes into view

A new found flower comes into bloom
Perfection now springs to life
Engulfing the world with every new sight
And gives growth to a conscience
