Oh, surely you must know us. We are the most famous secret organisation in the world and also it is a known fact that we control the world. Also we are certainly very evil and non-human et cetera.
Next thing you say is that you have never heard of freemasons. :eek:

Really, have you never read any conspiracy theory books?

Ooh I don't know about that anymore. I suspect there's one that's more famous, but the first rule of that organization is not to talk about that organization.

Don't know why but all these "poetry" made me think of this:

My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun;
Coral is far more red than her lips' red;
If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun;
If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head.
I have seen roses damasked, red and white,
But no such roses see I in her cheeks;
And in some perfumes is there more delight
Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks.
I love to hear her speak, yet well I know
That music hath a far more pleasing sound;
I grant I never saw a goddess go;
My mistress when she walks treads on the ground.
And yet, by heaven, I think my love as rare
As any she belied with false compare.

Oh, no doubt there! VERY pleasing to the eye :D

I think I just thought of the Sonnet because it seems like the kind of affection Shakespeare is talking about seems to be so far away from our minds when when we are enjoying the other kind of 'poetry' ;)

hell no...
my intention was just trying to teach children here (:P) to be carefull with strangers...kids, never take any free bon bons from strangers

Jay
11-06-2004, 02:55 PM
Yes, because the strangers are not really strangers giving you free bon bons, they actually are people trying to get you to vote for them, especially if an election's in the near future :p

*edit*
:eek: whooops... was NOT supposed to be politic, harmless thought :confused:

Jester
11-06-2004, 03:03 PM
right now not mentioning politics is quite hard becuase we all want to so much but i can understand i dont want to get into a fight with anybody online.... seems a pain though to have defend your positition violently on both sides

Jay
11-06-2004, 03:10 PM
Indeed.
But for my defence, we have senate elections today (as well as yesterday), was thinking if I wanted to vote where to go as my ... ugh, district? is about 300km from here.

Jester
11-07-2004, 03:00 AM
ooh thats a pain.... i had to walk about fifty feet and not wait in any lines to cast my vote in the presidential election though it took me a while to figure out how the ballad works.... the indtructions were annoying :rolleyes:

Yes children need popsicles, if they don't eat popsicles they become radical terrorists and listend to led zepplin backwards... :eek2:

Scheherazade
11-09-2004, 01:29 PM
I agree with you Papayahead! :) Let children enjoy themselves while they can but also make sure they stay healthy.

Stan, isn't that a little drastic??

Jay
11-09-2004, 01:35 PM
Scheherezade, you mean the listening to Led Zeppelin part or the listening to Led Zeppelin backwards part drastic? ;):p

Scheherazade
11-09-2004, 02:03 PM
I was more concentrating on 'being a terrorist' part but Led Zeppelin too I guess ;)

Jay
11-09-2004, 02:06 PM
hehe, is that so bad? The Led Zeppelin part I mean ;) :p

Scheherazade
11-09-2004, 02:11 PM

Jay
11-09-2004, 02:21 PM

Scheherazade
11-09-2004, 02:25 PM
No, I'd prefer them to be geeks and teacher's pets! :D

Jay
11-09-2004, 02:28 PM

Sure, whatever you say, Jay! :p

Jay
11-09-2004, 02:34 PM
Ok, could we do some poetry then? It's sooo cool having a lecture on poetry (nice understandable/discussionable ... oh wow, is that even a word? lol) not some... shallow boring stuff. If you really want ;) the uni does accept native speakers ;)
:angel:
does that mean I'd get no homeworks and answers to tests beforehand? :p

Scheherazade
11-09-2004, 07:09 PM

Stanislaw
11-09-2004, 07:16 PM
arrr, ye see ledzplin is described as a semi satanic band acording to real player, and listening to their songs backwards apparently contains satanic mesaages.

on a different not you guys (gals) would not believe how many people read my name as "satin is law"...

Jester

the backward Led's indeed contain satanic verses. I once heard Stairway to Heaven played backwards..some verses said "sweet satan" stuffs..But that's the point really is..to always listen to songs in the right way and stop wondering what the songs said if you played them backward
