Hey Lit Net forums! My name is Sean and I hail from Northern Ireland. I can't really define myself as a certain type of person because I'm going through an annoying reinvention phase/quarter life crisis (ask me next week and I'll probably have a different answer)!
The type of books I would normally read are political or philosophical but I'm getting into the classics at the minute (just finished War & Peace, about to start Les Misérables). I'm also at the beginning of writing a novel, if you're interested. I'm sure we'll all get on fine.

Welcome to the site Prole  What part of the North are you from?
Seeing as you are currently "evading employment";) , there are plenty of e-texts right here on the site that you can read to save you some mula. And you can also discuss them with anyone willing enough to discuss.:p
Hope you enjoy yourself!

I'm from scummy Downpatrick, Niamh. St. Patricks grave, yadda yadda... :D
Its amazing how downloading a file on a computer hosted across the world works out cheaper than actually buying one. Gotta love technology :)

Scrummy! Downpatrick is a lovely place! One of the nicest places i've been to in Northern Ireland. Strangford loch and its Magnus Barelegs Festival n stuff....
