View Full Version : Who's Looking at This Section?

When I come to online-literature.com/forums, I usually check about 4 sections: Blogs, General Literature, Blogs, General Chat, and blogs. Until recently, I was able to view the usernames of other people who were veiwing the same section I was in. Now, I can only see who else is in blogs, but nowhere else. When you're looking at the "index" (I guess that's what it's called) you can see all the members logged on to lit net at the time, but when you go into a specific section, you can't see who else is there. Why is that? You used to be able to see who was there. Is it a privacy protection issue? I am not trying to be some kind of weird stalker, but it's just strange to not be able to see that anymore. Is there some kind of problem?

Nope, no problem, that function was turned off as part of measures to make the entire site run more efficiently/faster.
You can still see who is where with Currently Active Users.

Oh, I was about to ask the same question. Call me a stalker if you like, but I enjoyed knowing who was here or there. :D

You could also look to the right of your screen, where it says Quick Links, and Enter into that menu. When it drops down, the last selection will say Who's Online, just Enter into that menu, and you can see who is where.
No, I am not a stalker! :brow:
As far as I know, when you view another members profile you can see where exactly they are. For example, it will read:
Last Activity: Today 10:41 PM
Viewing Thread May / France Reading Nominations @ 10:41 PM
Sometimes I simply like to see what other members are doing. :p
