Malcolm's cold and calculating. Macbeth's hot and impulsive. Robotic objectivity is less endearing than passionate subjectivity, however tainted.

At the begininning of the play ,we encountered the character of macbeth.Being a round character we are intimately moving with the character of macbeth so our all the feelings lay around with him more than the character of malcom.Being he is a flat character we are not much familiear with him.do you agry with me?

Malcolm's character has an element of duplicity as instanced in a conversation with Macduff. Malcolm fled to England to muster support for his credible claim to the Scottish throne. Also fleeing to England, to Malcolm, Macduff abandons his wife, children, servants and relatives to Macbeth's wrath.

Malcolm has little interest in moral accusation when he asks why Macduff left his family “in that rawness". Malcolm has political not moral goals: all he wants is an ally, a loyal general. After Malcolm’s, “You may be rightly just [in leaving wife and child], whatever I shall think”, Malcolm his happy to accept an ally. Malcolm is ever pragmatic and less than likeable.
