A Fire that Burns

Sitting in front of the fire
That burns in our
Hearts, we are able to
See the lives we have
Lived.
The mistakes and conquests
Blend, mix and dance together
To form a cumulative
Crucible of conscious choices
Which we once thought unrelated;
They shape our existence and draw
Us nearer together.

As we sit in front of this
Fire that burns in our
Hearts, we realize
The distance that separates us.

Bugger. Anyhow shem Lucy Pevensie, falls asleep to the dancing figures in MR. Tumnus's fireplace...then wakes to atrocious evils done...buh buh buh
