So here we stand again
Where we met at crossing roads.
And here your hand it guided me
To take a step on yours.
A path full of adventure
Was what you gave for free.
Evenings in full gallop
Living just to be.
Past coloured flowers
That tugged my every sense.
Lured me past my safety rail
Was thrown beyond the fence.
I notice now your pace is slowing
Untill I’m far ahead.
And when I turn my silly head
It seems your nearly dead.
And suddenly I notice
That we’re here again.
Standing by the cross roads
And it’s time for you to leave.
But thanks for the adventure
Thanks for thrilling me.
