ok so in English clash were doing this thing on identity
and i`m a little curious as to every one else`s identity
so basically you just write a poem stating who you are and where your from

just start it out "i am from"
and then go from there

well i guess i should give an example, you don`t have to put "i am from" in front of every line, i just did that for some reason

I am from laughter
smiling faces and hiding places

from a river
floating free with paddle in hand

from my father
on whose giant hand i would stand

from a beach
playing in a little cave

from a wooded path
exploring that which i thought brave

i am from sorrow
the loss of precious family

i am from hope
searching through life`s debris

i am from that which is not seen
nothing great or nothing small
i am from the in-between

Good idea! My babbling almost non-sense at places, just some random thoughts piled up, but here it is.

I am from where the blue-bird shrieks
Yet gorious and beautiful do look the mountain peaks
I am from where the believers at times doubt God's existence
Yet pagans often mutter, "Oh God, help us."
I am from where several others have hearts like mine
Yet the difference of brains and luck make not all of them divine
I am from where the only chance of survival is hope
Yet without hope the bodies and souls are tied by life with a rope
I am from where they think you can't live without love
Yet with love they think they can not live and be better without it
I am from where yes is to no as good is to bad
Yet their relativity can't be considered which is quite sad
I am from where the words can't be equal to ideas
I am from where even the actions do not make a man
Yet humans are so easily judged by their actions and ideas
I am from where the words are judged by actions and action by words
I am from where the ideas are judged by actions and actions not by ideas
Yet talks about a wholly fair where-I-am-from are often heard
I am from where I am entitled to my views
Yet have to live and die according to what others think
I am from where the beautiful is ugly and ugly beautiful
I am from the world of contradiction where defeat has been in front of everything logical

I Am From...

I am from a dark night or was it a hot, hazy afternoon,
that July day, two sailors, home from the sea, hungry,
mean, taking without asking, did they ever wonder?
I am from a blue Pacific wave, yet painted amongst
the orange groves in the mountains overlooking, those
green hills rocking me, showing me where the world ends.
I am from a father who took me for his own, who fell
in love, brunnette and redhead, both in blue, who showed
us highways, proving home is where you are, with him.
I am from music and dancing and books and with all this
from, where could I be going, where will I end?
