You stood by our side through it all,
And if we fell you still stood tall.

You stuck it out,
Even through all your doubt.

You did it all out of love,
And for us you rose above.

You held back what you really felt,
And for us you went the distance and you dealt.

Our happiness has always come first to you,
And it shows with all that you do.

I am so glad that we share such a special bond,
Because for me and my sister you have gone above and beyond.

When I am told I am just like my mother,
I smile because I would never want to be like any other.

You always encouraged us to imagine and dream,
And you always made sure that things were just as good as they seemed.

You always told me I could do anything no matter what it was,
And you always made sure that I was okay because that’s what a mother does.

But you are not just my mother, you are also my best friend,
And the one person I run to, and always will till the very end.

So thank you for always being there,
And for showing that you care.

Just always remember how much I love you,
And as much as I count on you, you can always count on me to be there too.
