For Example.

I needed to buy a book for a literature class at the University of North Texas. I read the name of the book off of my little peice of Paper. "I need The San Alorises" I said to the sales guy at Recycled Books. "Who is it by" he asked. "Hemingway, I think." He gave me a blank a stare. I kept pushing him and searching for this book that I was sure my teacher wanted me to have. I thought it was some spanish themed story by Hemingway..."The San Alorises" it sounded exotic. Thirty minutes later he said, "Are you sure that you are not looking for 'The Sun Also Rises' by Ernest Hemingway?" I looked at my little piece of paper. My handwriting was awful. "San Alorises....Sun Also Rises." It took a few days for me to show my face at that bookstore again. I still avoid that salesman if at all possible.

Don't be ashamed. Happens to all kinds of people.

Back in the seventies I started studying at university. There seemed to be a hype about Che Guevara, the revolutionary. As I wanted to know who exactly he was and what he was fighting for, I decided to buy his biography. Same blank eyes as you describe with the saleswoman at the bookstore. Of course, there were no computers at the time. She scribbled down some letters and went to look at her printed catalogues, which took her some time. At last she admitted she couldn't find anyone of that name. I gazed at the slip of paper she had written the name on. It said, "Schege Warah".
