It's been a long night
the silence is becoming whole.
Entrenching itself in the street curb
impersonated in the taxi wheel.
I've opened up the window
and I'm sitting on my ledge.
Feet dangling by my legs
my hands before my face.
The colours have been dimmed
the gray of Copenhagen dawn.
Glimmering before me
the towers of the town.
Cold singe of metal
from the window frame.
It wakes me
and bids me return.
Yet out there I'm sure
is the world I'm looking for.
I can feel
the sparkling atmosphere.
And you draw me in
drown me in impressions.
Absorbed into the morning wind
that tricks me onto the streets.
Prancing through the puddles
in my red dancing shoes.
Pausing by the corner
of Old Kings Road.
There is a veil of tobacco smoke
that dances from your balcony.
There too
is your silhouette.
I do believe
you are inviting me.

Beautiful, the images you create are amazing, i especially liked "Absorbed into the morning wind
that tricks me onto the streets.
Prancing through the puddles
in my red dancing shoes."

Thank you, i watched the sun rise from a flat in copenhagen today, as he sat in the window smoking his last cigarette... I'm no romantic, but it was such a beautiful moment. Even if it always rains here :)
