Lemony Snicket

Ok, ridiculously enough for someone my age... my favorite series is Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events" ... what did you guys think of "The Grim Grotto"... assuming that I'm not the only one over 10 reading those... haha.

Ridiculous? Not at all. I'm very well read, and a very close friend of mine coerced me into reading them. Right now, I'm on the 8th, and I must say I'm quite enjoying them so far. The author really lays in layers of references and antinovel absurdity that is really quite ingenious. They're good books.

Never ridiculous, my favorite series of his as well, and such a wonderful title. A series of unfortuante events leads to everything.

God i love the mans writing style... alot of subtle allusions... like when Sunny uses "Matahari" for the word spy... lotsa stuff the age group its meant for wouldnt understand. Read his unauthorized autobiography too... bloody hilarious stuffs.
