Indeed we are not living today, or to put this differently, we live by ideals and those ideals are dead ones, lifeless.

In fact we live in memories, and we do not live the moment.

Living the moment is vital, for only the present is true and the past and future can be but relatively true.

Animals and birds live the moment, and they act as per their instincts, and as such they are happier and we human beings only run after dead ideals.

Time flies and we seem to arrest it with memories and the moment matters little to us and the moments gone be and the ones to be lives are esteemed.

How can you live the moment since it is always past? We live the future and the past but never the present.

Living the present means to do things now, and the past and future both are uncertain and what is certain is always the present

absolutely agreed.......
we just regret about the past, planning apprehensively about future.but in doing so,we destroy our present.

Your words speak of truth in point of fact.Yet I can not clearly discern exactly what is present that is absolutely devoid of both elements of past and future. Everything is realtive in this world. This is the idea I have arrived at of late. I want to be pliable in arguments, and rigidity is what I distaste most.

I believe that the world is constant flux and I am also here in this flux, and I can not be out of these everyday phenomena in point of fact. As such, I accept that what I said yesterday in one context can be changed today.

I beleive in mysticism, for all our unnderstandings or iconclusions can prove wrong in a number of years or maybe decades. Scientific conclusions today we make or construe are likely to turn out to be untrue with new propositions or ideas breaking in.

I oftentimes try to go along logical lines to arrive at truth, yet logic has its own limits, and what we call logical is sheer wittiness and nothing else.

Ultimately despite all our undersranding of scientific theories and physical phenomena there is still something yet to understand. Maybe I am out of context now, yet I feel like sharing all this. For what I wrote is not a premeditated idea, it is the spurt of the thought of the moment, in the here and now.

Ah, nice read. I have to remind myself about the sentiment of this thread, to take one day at a time.
