What walks on four legs in the morning, two in the afternoon, and three in the evening . . . ?

No, really. :D I hope there isn't already a thread like this. But here's the game: two people compose riddles, of any length, structure, or difficulty - they must be orginal, however, and not too easy! - and the rest can try and guess the answers. The first person who solves whichever riddle gets to write and post their own. We can also do this with only one riddle at a time, if you'd like; but it might be a bit more fun with two! You can only guess once a day (well, two guesses a day, one for each riddle) so think carefully before posting!

If anybody has suggestions or modifications that they'd like to make, go right ahead and I'll consider, since I'm not very experienced at making up games :p .

Here is the first riddle - the first person who gets in a post with a second can be the other riddler for this turn! (And kiz paws is not allowed to answer, since she already got it right in my blog!! :p )

I am so small
That when I grow
I take your breath away
I'm often benched
Or bitten;
Exploding me is okay

Used hard
Or hardly used at all
Ten minutes or a day
I might taste good
But don't eat me!
Who am I here portrayed?

:thumbs_up Happy riddling!

Oops, sorry - both stanzas were part of one riddle. And no, it's still up there! Nice guesses, though, pussnboots.

Yep :D

Now Scher gets to post another riddle . . . if you want to do this with two, like I was thinking in the rules above, why don't you put one up also, puss? :)

It's not exactly like this way of riddling, but here (http://www.online-literature.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2031)'s a more traditional one if someone wants to add to it.

ah okay! I think the question mark at the end confused me a bit.
If Puss wants to do the next riddle go a head. not good at these...

Here's a translated one:

I went to the woods and got it
When I got it I sat down to look for it
Because I could not find it I took it home with me.
