These words are dedicated to "L"

Dear little girl
with your beautiful brown eyes
wide with wonder
at a world much too big for you

Dear little flower
you try to brave these stormy times
but your stem is so frail, so fragile .... please ...
use me to lean on

Dear little raindrop
that tries to splash with the others;
you don't have to blend in
if you don't want to

Dear little sunbeam
you shine a different light
onto all you dance for
brilliant and dazzling
yet too blinding for most

Dear little icicle
dripping, dripping, yet I can't catch you
please stay awhile
we haven't had you long enough

Dear little heart
we love you

Oh my, whoever this was written for, I hope she saw it - and if she did, how moved she must have been.

This poem is subtle and it penetrates deeper and deeper. It proves how fragile or weak a thing of beauty, the way a dew drop is. It sparkles in the sunshine but melts away immediately.

Ah Kiz, such a beautiful poem! I'm inspired to write love poem for the upcoming valentine day ;). Really :) Your valentine would surely love this poem if you haven't shown him/her this poem yet. And yes, this is really a moving poem.

I agree with Blaze completely regarding his thought .

Keep up your good work Kiz. :thumbs_up

Very beautiful - reminds me of refuge, like, going to true refuge, etc.

Hope to see you around again some day, Kiz, if you ever see this.
