This is just your average story. She was there. Or she wasn’t. It doesn’t matter whose side you take—either way, it was the most magnificent place she had ever been. Or seen, really. She hadn’t exactly “been” there—or at least not for very long.

There were so many friendly ones. Made you wonder what they wanted sometimes. Some of them took the time out to point to all the beautiful sights: look a purple orange. Its hanging from the string on that balcony! Up there! Was this really happening? How wonderful!

But there was something missing? What was it? She hadn’t exactly seen it either… after all.

More like heard the description, and dreamt she was dreaming. But who could really be sure? So were her eyes open when she was dreaming? Or closed? The rattling of that broken speaker snatched her back into…

She opened her eyes, and saw everything and nothing all at once.

Interesting. It is difficult to keep that line of thinking up, eh? I really liked what you did with the paradox concept. Cheers :)

I'm not entirely clear what this story was about and somehow... I'm sensing that that was the point. >_>
